This is an immediate start date role.
Position Overview:
As a Management Consultant within the Banking practice, you will play a key role in providing strategic advisory and consulting services to our banking clients.
The Consultant will lead client onboarding and data migration projects for wealth management firms implementing portfolio and performance reporting platforms. This role requires expertise in data integration, reporting accuracy, and operational transformation. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in performance reporting, custodial data management, and client implementations within the wealth technology space.
About the Role:
Based on your experience and the level you will join at, you will:
- Manage end-to-end client onboarding projects, ensuring the successful migration of data to performance reporting systems.
- Analyze, map, and transform client data from custodians, portfolio management systems, and legacy platforms into the product’s data model.
- Perform data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation across diverse custodians and legacy systems.
- Configure report structures, benchmarks, and performance calculations in line with client requirements.
- Configure data ingestion pipelines, workflows, and account hierarchies within the product environment.
- Collaborate with internal and client teams to define workflows and operational models integrating portfolio data into comprehensive client reports.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure accuracy across holdings, transactions, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with engineering and integration teams and external data vendors to establish secure and automated data feeds from custodians and upstream systems.
- Develop documentation and reusable templates for onboarding, reconciliation, and reporting verification processes.
- Train client operations and reporting staff on platform setup, data validation, and reporting capabilities.
- Partner with consulting leadership and product experts to enhance delivery processes and share onboarding best practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, digital innovations, and best practices in the banking industry, sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues and clients.
About You:
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in financial technology consulting, data migration, or wealth management operations.
- Hands‑on experience with Addepar, or substantial experience with performance and reporting tools such as Black Diamond, Orion, Tamarac, SEI Archway, or Clearwater Analytics.
- Understanding of performance measurement methodologies including TWR, IRR, and benchmarking frameworks.
- Knowledge of custodial data feeds (Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, Clearwater) and reconciliation workflows.
- Experience with SQL, data transformation, or ETL utilities.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills, with ability to translate technical details into client‑ready outputs.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies; with existing Scrum Master certifications a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds, and build positive relationships with clients.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high‑quality work under pressure.
- An entrepreneurial mindset to assist in a variety of projects and firm initiatives.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Good to have:
- Exposure to data warehouse or data lake architectures supporting performance analytics.
- Familiarity with CRM, billing, and financial planning tool integrations.
- Certification or project exposure under Addepar’s implementation partner network or similar environments.
- Knowledge of GIPS compliance, managed account structures, and composite reporting workflows.
