Senior Manager, Product Analytics
Location:
New York City (4 days onsite)
Base pay: $/yr - $/yr (up to $200,000 + equity)
Company: fast-scaling, NYC-based venture-backed SaaS/marketplace company building new analytics leadership layer.
Role:
Employee is a player‑coach, part IC, part leadership; building processes and experimentation programs.
- Lead analytics for high‑complexity product areas, partnering with senior product leaders.
- Roll up your sleeves: deep‑dive analysis, performance measurement, hypothesis validation.
- Stand up experimentation practices (A/B testing, causal inference, etc.).
- Build scalable data models and self‑serve analytics.
- Mentor and develop a growing team (starting with one direct report).
- Help define data strategy, influence roadmaps and evolve analytics best practices.
- 7+ years in product analytics, data science, or similar.
- Experienced in B2B SaaS environments.
- Strong SQL and experience with Python; experience with tools like Big Query, dbt, Amplitude/Omni, Hex.
- Prior startup experience; ability to navigate ambiguity and influence visionary stakeholders.
- Experience running experiments and working directly with Product teams.
- People leadership experience (formal or informal).
- Someone excited to build trust with a Product org and unlock a new level of data maturity.
- Backed by top‑tier VCs with significant recent investment.
- Data team is highly respected, collaborative, and business‑critical.
