We are seeking a motivated Junior Test Engineer to join our BIOS automation team. The candidate will assist in developing and executing automated test cases using Python and Robot Framework, support Azure pipelines for running smoke and regression tests, and perform system-level troubleshooting on Windows-based platforms.

Years of Relevant Experience Needed:
4-6 years

• Develop and execute automated test scripts in Python using Robot Framework.
• Support the setup, execution, and monitoring of Azure Dev Ops pipelines for test automation.
• Participate in smoke and regression testing for BIOS validation.
• Perform Windows-level troubleshooting to identify and debug issues.
• Document test results, report issues, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Maintain and update existing test scripts and automation frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Robot Framework, pytest, Selenium, or similar). Ability to assess and improve automation scripts for reliability and maintainability.
• Good understanding of BIOS/Firmware concepts.
• Proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Python IDEs) and version control systems (e.g., Git) is required.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (such as Azure Pipelines) for integrating automated tests is highly desirable.
• Experience with Windows system internals, device manager, and event logs.
• Experience in Github, Powershell is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to clearly articulate testing status, risks, and needs to developers, product managers, and senior leaders. Experience presenting QA plans and results in meetings.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good to have:
  Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Selenium, or similar — framework knowledge to quickly adapt to new tools.
