Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a Social Media Associate Director with experience in campaign management who is a vocal and engaged leader on client and functional teams. You should have a proven ability to carry out strategy through structuring and planning, and direct management experience of Social Supervisors and holistic team members on your account.

The Opportunity

Your responsibilities will include:

Team Leadership
  • Determine how to use Social resources most efficiently.
  • Effectively manage and lead all Social team members on particular client team(s).
  • Identify training and development needs of client team and broader functional team.
  • Build training materials and implement them with the client team; receive consistent feedback.
  • Develop processes, methodologies, best practices and frameworks for client and broader functional teams.
  • Consult with individual client teams to ensure best practices are used and brainstorm new approaches.
  • Lead the hiring process for Social team members on assigned client(s).
  • Oversee onboarding of new clients within the office location.
  • Ensure integration with other functional teams.
Grow Business
  • Increase and expand paid media services for clients to meet KPI objectives.
  • Identify, test and share results of new channels and products.
  • Align Social strategy with client’s overall business goals.
  • Assist business development in developing and presenting pitches, providing oversight to junior team members.
Practice Development
  • Own the Social portion of new hire training and onboarding, coordinating with HR.
  • Ensure all training materials are current and presentations effective.
  • Coach and evaluate presenters, develop new trainings, and conduct surveys to maximise effectiveness.
  • Develop and provide feedback for onboarding processes and certification exams.
  • Lead rollout and adoption plans for new processes and strategies across client teams.
Innovation
  • Identify and develop new processes, strategies, and frameworks.
  • Meet with client teams regularly to evaluate new management approaches and optimization techniques.
  • Pilot new approaches with client teams to refine and ensure viability.
  • Collaborate with Content and Analytics leads to integrate opportunities.
  • Holds alpha/beta tests, tracks iterations, and ensures learnings are captured and shared.
  • Develops POVs for new products and enhancements related to existing services.
Product & Service Development
  • New External Channels/Products
    • Identify and evaluate new channels and products.
    • Recommend clients to test new channels and products.
    • Maintain central repository of channel/product information and testing results.
  • Internal Products & Services
    • Assist with product marketing for existing Social services.
    • Project manage development and testing of new products and services.
    • Identify new products/services being delivered by client teams and evaluate agency‑level roll‑out.
Partner Relations
  • Act as main point of contact for technology partners and evaluate new providers.
  • Develop proposals for new providers and maintain a repository of technology partner information.
  • Update RFIs and act as escalation point for technology issues.
  • Ensure client teams are informed of new providers and technology updates.
  • Serve as subject‑matter expert for client team questions, new business, and sister agencies.
Social Networks
  • Act as main point of contact for social networks.
  • Oversee Insertion Order creation and processing.
