Business Operations OverviewThe Business Operations team helps guide and articulate technology strategy and research, and is responsible for driving the day‑to‑day operation of the Product & Technology organization, including project and portfolio management and tracking; organization‑level capital, space, and resource management and allocation; process management; technical incident management; and our administrative and workplace experience support team.
Role FocusWithin the Business Operations organization, the Senior Program Manager – Onboarding & Support is a senior‑level role focused on driving efficiency and coordination across cross‑functional programs. This position ensures the internal onboarding program supports new hires effectively, aligns with strategic goals, and maintains continuous improvement documentation.
Responsibilities and DutiesLeadership and Team Management
- Own the Technology Onboarding Program, including reporting and metrics.
- Foster team dynamics, morale, and motivation, promoting a culture of respect, collaboration, and high performance.
- Demonstrate leadership through collaboration, work ethic, creative thinking, and inspiring others.
Onboarding Experience Management
- Monitor and respond to inquiries in the onboarding Teams channel and shared inbox, providing timely support and guidance to new hires.
- Manage proactive outreach initiatives to ensure all new hires are fully prepared and ready for their first day.
Process Documentation & Improvement
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve onboarding FAQs, self‑service guides, and other support documentation.
- Track recurring questions, trends, and challenges to identify opportunities for process improvements or program enhancements.
- Constantly evaluate and refine operational processes with every iteration.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to support business initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with external vendors as needed to drive program success.
- Identify training gaps, recurring support needs, and tooling issues, providing recommendations to improve onboarding and operational processes.
Communication and Negotiation
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
- Skillfully negotiate solutions for competing requirements, priorities, or stakeholder preferences.
Process Improvement and Learning
- Take initiative, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and quickly learn new systems.
- Drive continuous improvement across onboarding, support, and operational programs.
