We are looking for a skilled and experienced VMware Migration & Implementation Specialist to join our Technology Services team and lead critical infrastructure modernization projects for our global clients.

The VMware Migration & Implementation Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, design, execution, and verification of complex VMware environments, with a primary focus on migrating workloads from legacy or on-premises infrastructure to modernized data centers and cloud platforms. This role requires deep expertise in VMware virtualization, storage, and networking technologies.

• Planning, design, and hands‑on implementation of VMware virtualization solutions including vSphere, vSAN, NSX‑T, and vRealize Suite.
• P2V and V2V migrations of diverse client workloads to new VMware environments, minimizing downtime and mitigating risk.
• Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions using VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) or similar tools.
• Configure and manage VMware networking and storage technologies (vSwitch, Distributed Switch) ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation.
• Assess existing client infrastructure to develop comprehensive migration strategies and roadmaps for moving workloads to modern VMware platforms.
• Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization of virtual infrastructure to ensure environments meet client service level agreements.
• Provide expert technical consulting and guidance to clients and internal teams on best practices for securing, scaling, and managing VMware environments.

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation
  , including design diagrams, implementation plans, test cases, and operational runbooks.
• Drive the adoption of Dev Ops and automation principles within the virtualization layer using tools like vRealize Automation or Power Shell scripting.

• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in planning, implementing, and managing large‑scale VMware environments.
• Deep expertise in VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi) and proven experience with VMware migration tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding and experience with VMware vSAN for hyper‑converged infrastructure implementation.
• Solid knowledge of VMware NSX‑T (or NSX‑V) networking and security concepts.
• Familiarity with server hardware, storage technologies (SAN/NAS), and network protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex virtualization, storage, and networking issues.
• Certifications such as VCP‑DCV, VCAP (Design or Deployment) are highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client‑facing technical discussions.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and hybrid cloud integrations using VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (Power Shell, Python).
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL best practices.
