Role: Founding Fullstack Engineer
Location: New York or San Francisco (hybrid, 3–4 days in office + 1 weekend day remote)
Compensation: $150k – $220k + 1%–1.5% equity

An early‑stage AI company is building a contract review agent that makes legal work 10x faster and cheaper
. Already partnered with leading law firms and scaling rapidly, the company is on a strong growth trajectory.

The founding team is deeply technical (10+ years each in AI research, academia, and enterprise AI), with prior experience at major tech companies and institutions. They’ve also brought on senior commercial/legal leadership to accelerate customer adoption.

As a Founding Fullstack Engineer
, you’ll be among the first engineering hires with the opportunity to shape the infrastructure, product, and culture
. This is a high‑ownership role where you’ll collaborate directly with the founding team to architect and scale customer‑facing applications.

• Build and own core user‑facing applications (front‑end + back‑end)

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to define technical direction

• Drive technical projects from strategy to implementation

• Promote best engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, and quality standards

• Contribute to product roadmaps and business growth initiatives

• 4+ years in full‑stack development (frontend + backend)

• Skilled in JavaScript/Type Script, React, Python, SQL, CI/CD, Git

• Startup experience strongly preferred

• Comfortable in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments

• Interested in large impact and ownership as an early team member
