Our client is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of data governance policies and practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and compliance across the bank.

• Framework & Policy:
  Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Collaboration:
  
  Collaborate with data stewards and data owners across different departments to ensure adherence to data governance policies.
• Quality & Integrity:
  Monitor data quality metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement; conduct data reviews to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Tools & Documentation:
  Support the implementation of data governance tools and technologies to enhance data management processes; create and maintain documentation related to data governance processes and procedures.
• Training & Initiatives:
  Educate and train bank employees on data governance best practices and policies; participate in cross‑functional teams to support data governance initiatives and projects.
• Support:
  Other duties as required by the head of data governance.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or a related technical role.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  • Understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL) to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets.
  • Experience with data governance tools and technologies is a plus.
• Professional
  
  Skills:
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
