Full Stack Web Engineer

Job Overview

Cerity Partners is seeking an Experienced Full Stack Engineer with expertise in modern JavaScript and Type Script to create engaging, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces. You will work closely with designers, back-end developers, marketing, and content teams to build and maintain websites that deliver exceptional user experiences integral to brand awareness, content engagement, and lead generation.

The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining website infrastructure, application integration, and both front-end and back-end experiences. Daily tasks include designing, implementing, and managing websites using our current Word Press platform, creating user interfaces, troubleshooting website problems, and staying current with industry trends to ensure optimal site performance. In the near term we will be modernizing and migrating to a new web hosting platform, requiring collaboration with our internal IT team to optimize that migration.

• Develop and maintain website infrastructure and full stack features using JavaScript and Type Script.
• Design, implement, and manage websites on the current Word Press platform.
• Create user interfaces and troubleshoot website issues.
• Collaborate with designers, marketing, and content teams to deliver strong user experiences.
• Assist with migration to a new hosting platform and coordinate with internal IT for optimization.

• 5-7 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer and Senior Engineer.
• Proven experience managing and scaling high-traffic Word Press websites.
• Advanced proficiency in Dev Ops, front-end and back-end web development, design, and platforming with JavaScript and Type Script for financial services and technology companies.
• Experience with marketing integrations (GTM, GSC, Hub Spot, Salesforce) and evaluating workflows.
• Understanding of ADA best practices and accessibility approaches.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with engineers and non-technical stakeholders on marketing teams.
• Proficiency with MySQL and a strong understanding of database performance in a Word Press context.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Understanding of CRO and SEO practices.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
