We're looking for the second engineering hire — someone who wants ownership, velocity, and the chance to shape a product that will directly impact patient outcomes from day one.

• Lead development of our cross-platform mobile app using React Native
• Architect and ship scalable, performant, and secure features from scratch
• Work directly with the CEO, Head of Product, and clinical advisors to translate clinical logic + patient feedback into intuitive UX
• Integrate AI-powered coaching, food recognition, and wearable data into a seamless mobile experience
• Support the integration of a telehealth platform into the app
• Build real-time tracking systems.
• Lay the technical foundation, influence the product roadmap, and operate as a core member of the founding team
• Ensure strict data privacy and compliance standards (HIPAA, PHI handling, etc.)
• Partner with client technical teams to ensure robust builds + successful pilot outcomes
• Help drive early hiring strategy and identify top engineering talent as the team scales
• Support “MVP-level” AI model training using clinical guidelines, in-context learning, and structured workflows

• 4–6+ years building and shipping mobile apps end-to-end (React / React Native expertise required)
• Strong product intuition — you sweat UX details, especially for health/wellness users
• Comfortable in fast-paced, iterative, high-ambiguity environments
• Passionate about improving the lives of people managing chronic disease
• Experience with healthcare apps, HIPAA compliance, or privacy-first design is a plus
