Responsibilities
- Work with the Service Desk team to understand what items are needed and requested with frequency and ensuring that inventory minimums are maintained at all times
- Contribute to establishing suggested inventory minimums
- Maintain and organize designated inventory space for the NYC office and coordinate for other regional US offices
- Maintain the IT inventory management sheet for the US region offices while keeping it updated on a regular basis
- Maintain all Service Desk hardware related items in the US
- Collaborate with counterparts in our other regions to align on inventory management best practices
- Liaise with the procurement team to ensure order requests are processed and customers are given proper tracking information so they know when to expect an item
- Contribute where necessary for international orders
- Maintain all conference room inventory for all Enterprise related hardware
- Maintain all inventory and equipment issued in a centralized location
- Coordinate the disposal of end of life equipment
- Log all work in the Jira ticketing system
- Contribute as necessary to the testing of new hardware and document the results
- Maintain the documentation on Confluence related to Hardware updates, new hardware technology etc.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Broad understanding of computer hardware and AV equipment
- Desktops
- Laptops
- Video Cards
- Disparate AV cables and converters
- Conference Room Equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure and respond effectively in complex situations
- Physical ability to lift desktops, monitors, and other equipment not to exceed 50 pounds
- Ability to generate reports for management to account for all end user Enterprise related assets
- Familiarity with common business applications like Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, JIRA, and Confluence
