The Fire Department, City of New York (FDNY), seeks a full‑time IT Project Specialist in the Bureau of BTDS. Reporting directly to the IT Infrastructure Director, IT Operations, it looks for a Modern Workplace Rollout Engineer. This position will organize and improve the use of the Microsoft Modern Workplace software suite—including Teams, Forms, and Shifts—across different divisions. The successful candidate must specialize in effectively matching the capabilities of these technologies with the distinct needs of a process‑oriented Public Safety organization, most employees of whom function in the field.

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and four years of satisfactory full‑time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain.
• An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and six years of satisfactory full‑time experience related to the area(s) required and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain.
• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, and eight years of satisfactory full‑time experience related to the area(s) required and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain.
• Education and/or experience which is equivalent to one, two, or three above.
