Contract length:
10 weeks (Q1 only)

• Design and implement quantitative and qualitative research initiatives for the portfolio of NBCU brands
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business issues, research objectives, and hypotheses and determine the right methodological approach to drive advertiser demand
• Craft research instruments including surveys, discussion guides, and banner plans
• Manage fieldwork, data analysis, and insight extraction
• Synthesize and interpret large datasets to develop new perspectives on consumer viewing behavior
• Leverage third-party data to contextualize and amplify findings
• Uncover insights in an agile, dynamic environment using multi-methodological approaches

• Support the Senior Director of Primary Research and partner with stakeholders across Ad Sales

• 6+ years of experience as a researcher at a media brand or agency (supplier-side experience a plus)
• Expertise in leading, designing, executing, and reporting primary market research
• Strategic thinker with strong interest in advertising/media research, consumer behavior, and media usage
• Experience mining large datasets and telling clear, compelling stories with data
• Experience with survey scripting and/or data analysis platforms such as:
• Qualtrics
• Decipher
• DisplayR
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative team player
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
