About ING – ING’s Wholesale Banking division in the Americas delivers innovative financial products and services to domestic and international corporate and institutional clients.

Building networks is your hobby, but in this role you’ll manage enterprise‑grade LAN and Wi‑Fi networks where uptime, performance and security are critical. You enjoy scripting and programming and will apply those skills to automate and support the infrastructure that powers ING’s global network. You are a collaborative, energetic engineer who thrives in a team environment.

The LAN/Wi‑Fi Squad delivers high‑speed, low‑latency networks across ING locations. You will develop, roll out and support infrastructure using Dev Ops practices – orchestrating resources with Terraform, Ansible, Azure Dev Ops Automation, and other automation tools. You will work in an agile squad, participating in daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews and planning.

• Implement desired structural infrastructure solutions.
• Create and improve documentation and work instructions on the delivered infrastructure.
• Work with orchestration platforms such as Terraform, Ansible, Azure Dev Ops Automation.
• Conduct automated testing of IT infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
• Co‑ordinate interfacing between squads and consumers to achieve an end‑to‑end view.
• Assess and challenge network designs from a technical implementation and security perspective.
• Implement, configure, and modify network infrastructure as needed.
• Utilize network monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Leverage open‑source tooling for network management where applicable.
• Demonstrate proactive problem‑solving and task ownership.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a network engineer or similar function.
• Experience and certifications in one or more of the following: HPE Aruba Networking (ACP/ACX), Cisco Routing & Switching (CCNA/CCNP), Azure Dev Ops.
• Knowledge of Dev Ops practices (continuous delivery, cross‑functional teams, cross‑skilled squad members).
• Understanding of Scrum methodology (backlog, sprint planning, review).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language.
• Certifications or proven proficiency in Networking and Security.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000.
