Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and evolve a globally distributed Quality Assurance organization, aligning strategy, practices, and team structures with enterprise goals.
  • Define and execute a global QA strategy that embeds quality, efficiency, and scalability across the entire SDLC and product lifecycle.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to implement a consistent framework for quality behaviours, standards, and testing practices.
  • Drive the implementation of a global Value Maximisation Plan (VMP), optimising QA resources and processes to enhance business value and reduce technical risk.
  • Influence horizontally across product, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure quality is a shared responsibility.
  • Ensure test architecture and tooling choices are fit for scale and aligned with modern engineering practices.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure quality effectiveness, product readiness, and SDLC health at scale.
  • Lead quality-related transformation initiatives, such as test automation maturity, behaviour‑driven development, and integrated performance monitoring.
  • Serve as the internal and external thought leader on quality best practices, actively participating in governance forums and executive‑level discussions.
  • Build and nurture a diverse global team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and innovation.

Required Skills

  • 15+ years in software quality assurance, with a minimum of 5 years in global or enterprise‑scale leadership roles including experience within either Fin Tech, Financial Services or Technology organizations.
  • Demonstrates strategic thinking with a proven ability to translate organizational goals into quality operating models.
  • Strong background in building scalable QA frameworks across diverse technical environments and international teams.
  • Deep expertise in modern testing methodologies, automation frameworks, continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), and observability.
  • Proven success in driving quality transformation across a full ecosystem, not just QA verticals.
  • Experience influencing cross‑functional leadership teams and shaping organizational behavior to align with quality‑first principles.
  • Strong familiarity with the financial services domain, particularly in regulated or high‑availability platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to work effectively at C‑level and with engineering teams alike.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, not just hierarchy, with a collaborative leadership style.
  • Skilled in developing diverse, inclusive, and high‑performing teams in global settings.
