Oracle Cloud HCM Technical Consultant
Engagement
Location:
REMOTE ASSIGNMENT – Long term contract on W2
- Support the implementation of an Oracle Cloud Fusion deployment and ongoing support
- Develop, test, debug, implement, and document technical solutions in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM
- Experience in full life cycle implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud projects
- Functional understanding of Oracle Fusion HCM Suite:
Workforce Development, Payroll, Benefits, OTL, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent Management, etc. - Technical expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM tools: HDL, HCM Extracts, BIP Reports, OTBI Reports, Fast Formulas, Workflows, Page & Application Composers, VBCS
- Proficient in Fusion-based Integration development using OIC and SOAP/REST web services
- Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Understanding of SaaS and PaaS cloud computing
- Knowledge of APEX, Java, and Oracle Analytics Cloud is a plus
- Oracle certifications preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Word & Power Point
- Develop technical specification documents for customizations, interfaces, and reports
- Participate in code reviews
- Execute automated and manual testing
- Fix defects and performance issues
- Document application changes
- Team collaboration and adaptability to changing requirements
- A Developer assists in designing, developing, and supporting applications.
- These applications include systems developed solely for the web as well as efforts to web-enable end-user applications.
- The role may also include managing corporate websites and intranet communities.
- The Developer must have a thorough understanding of programming techniques and tools, web development, and system management tools.
- Understand all features of each module and their system-wide impacts
- Analyze data flows and align with current business models
- Identify and resolve system errors or deficiencies
- Coordinate with other developers to define best solutions
- Lead testing and implementation of patches and upgrades
- Extract key business performance metrics
- Analyze user needs and recommend efficiency improvements
- Create user documentation and training materials
- Evaluate and justify new technologies
- Manage network and hardware resources
- Ensure timely resolution of help-desk issues
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or related field
- Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in data processing, computer systems, and applications
- Operations specialty requires 5 years of supervisory experience
- Network services specialty requires a telecommunications background
- Alternatively, a satisfactory combination of training, education, and experience
