We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Lead – AWS Java/Python Developer who can lead a team of developers, architect robust cloud‑based solutions, and ensure timely and quality delivery. This role requires strong technical acumen in AWS, Java, and optionally Python, with the ability to be hands‑on when needed, while also effectively managing stakeholders and client communication.

• Design scalable, secure, and high‑performance cloud‑native applications on AWS.
• Own end‑to‑end architecture using Java, Microservices AWS CDK, and optionally Python.
• Define technical standards and ensure alignment with best practices.

• Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure high code quality.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

• Act as a primary technical liaison with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigations.

• Drive project delivery in Agile/Scrum or hybrid environments.
• Track progress, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery of milestones. Manage estimation, planning, and resource allocation.

• Write and review production‑grade code using Java and Python (preferred).
• Build infrastructure as code using AWS CDK/Terraform.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Experience in full‑stack or backend development with a strong focus on Java, Spring, spring boot.
• Solid understanding and hands‑on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS, Cloud Watch, RDS, etc.).
• Proficiency in AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) for infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of Dev Ops, CI/CD, and cloud‑native architectures.
• Exposure to Python for scripting, automation, or microservices is a strong plus.
• Proven track record of leading development teams and delivering complex solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS).
• Knowledge of modern front‑end technologies (React, Angular) is a plus.
• Background in enterprise‑scale application development.

Pay Range: $155,000 - $195,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
