Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking an IT Service Administrator / Endpoint Support Specialist for a RIGHT-TO-HIRE assignment with one of our premier Financial clients in midtown Manhattan, NYC .
Onsite role (5 days/week).

The firm is seeking a polished, customer-focused IT professional to join its small IT team and provide day-to-day end-user support, device administration, Intune/MDM management, Apple Business Manager support, Microsoft 365 user administration, and hands‑on operational IT assistance. This position will initially backfill a key IT Service Administrator going out on maternity leave and will work closely with both the Head of IT and existing team members.

A successful candidate will be hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable supporting senior staff in a high‑touch, white‑glove environment.

Responsibilities

IT Services & Support (Tier 1 / Light Tier
2)
  • Provide white‑glove, in‑person support for hardware, software, Windows endpoints, and corporate applications.
  • Serve as the primary Tier‑1 resource for 80 on‑site users, including executives.
  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, connectivity issues, Teams/Zoom problems, and basic networking.
  • Perform smart‑hands work: install monitors, docking stations, cables, and verify network ports.
  • Coordinate with internal staff and external vendors as needed.
User Administration & Microsoft 365
  • Manage user provisioning, deactivation, and account configuration across:
    Active Directory, Azure AD / Microsoft 365.
  • Assign/modify M365 license packages and security groups.
  • Perform password resets, troubleshoot access issues, and support Office 365/Teams at Level 1/2.
  • Assist with Exchange Online tasks including group permissions, mailbox setup, and calendar configuration.
Endpoint Management (Intune & ABM/MDM)
  • Enroll, configure, and manage devices using Microsoft Intune.
  • Support compliance profiles, configuration policies, and endpoint lifecycle tasks.
  • Manage Apple device onboarding through Apple Business Manager (ABM).
  • Oversee iPhone/iPad provisioning and MDM enrollment for corporate users.
Mobile Device Management (Verizon / AT&T)
  • Activate, swap, and troubleshoot corporate mobile devices.
  • Coordinate directly with Verizon (and occasionally AT&T) to resolve account issues, port numbers, and elevate service interruptions.
  • Support SIM transfers, device replacements, and insurance claims where applicable.
Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Execute user onboarding/offboarding workflows, including AD/Azure provisioning, mailbox creation, M365 configuration, and device setup.
  • Prepare laptops, accessories, and mobile devices for new hires.
  • Walk new employees through IT orientation and assist with first‑day system access.
  • Support remote onboarding when necessary via MDM and Intune provisioning.
Platform / SaaS Administration
  • Assist in administering core enterprise tools such as:
    Microsoft 365, Teams / Exchange Online, Apple Business Manager, Mobile carrier portals (Verizon).
  • Maintain license counts and user assignment accuracy.
  • Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting for supported SaaS apps.
Device Lifecycle & Inventory Management
  • Maintain inventory of laptops, phones, accessories, and peripherals.
  • Order devices and accessories as needed; assist with expense submission workflows.
  • Configure and manage loaner laptops.
  • Coordinate device repairs through OEM vendors when required.
Event Support & Office Coordination
  • Support internal meetings by providing or preparing IT equipment.
  • Assist with A/V or Zoom/Teams Room troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with external A/V providers for special events as needed.
Required Skills
1. Microsoft 365 & Platform Administration
  • 3-5 years supporting corporate environments (Tier 1 / Tier
    2).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 user management, Exchange Online, Teams, and license administration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot user access, group membership, mail/calendar permissions, and Office app issues.
2. Intune MDM & Endpoint Configuration
  • Hands‑on experience with Intune enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and device lifecycle tasks.
  • Ability to onboard/offboard Windows and mobile devices through Intune.
