Position OverviewWe’re hiring a Solution Engineer based in the U.S. who will partner closely with strategic logos and large enterprise customers throughout the pre‑sales and early post‑sales journey. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, leading complex technical evaluations, understanding customer needs, designing tailored solutions, and demonstrating how Vetric’s APIs and data pipelines deliver immediate value. This is a hybrid role spanning solutions architecture, technical consulting, and hands‑on problem solving.
It is ideal for someone who thrives in a highly technical, API‑driven environment and wants to directly influence customer success and product direction. The position requires willingness to travel domestically at least once per quarter.
- Lead technical discovery with prospects to deeply understand requirements, constraints, and goals.
- Design and present tailored Vetric solutions, including data flows, architectures, and integration plans.
- Build and deliver technical demos, POCs, and sample integrations.
- Serve as the trusted technical advisor through evaluation, onboarding, and initial deployment.
- Translate customer needs into clear specifications for Product and Engineering.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure a smooth end‑to‑end customer journey.
- Support customers in best practices for scaling data ingestion, enrichment, and API usage.
- Help shape Vetric’s technical documentation, playbooks, and solution templates.
- Represent customer needs internally to influence roadmap prioritization.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Architect roles.
- Proven experience working with large enterprise customers and strategic logos.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong hands‑on technical skills, including the ability to write scripts, work directly with code, and support API integrations end‑to‑end.
- Experience designing, implementing, and debugging API‑based or data‑driven solutions.
- Ability to lead complex technical conversations with senior technical stakeholders.
- Experience running enterprise‑grade demos, proofs of concept, and technical evaluations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business value.
- Comfortable working in a remote, fast‑moving startup environment.
- English – native‑level proficiency.
- Based in the United States.
- Prior experience in data platforms, data infrastructure, or data solution fields.
- Experience working with developer‑focused products, Dev Tools, or API‑first companies.

Salary range: 110K‑180K USD (annual compensation)
