Job description:

Demonstrates strong business and technical knowledge in Payment Processing - initiation to settlement and tracking
Translates business requirement to functional user stories and collaborate with product, business stakeholders, operations and development team.
Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address strategic business objectives that span multiple, global business and technology areas. Ensures an end-to-end solution for delivery of the desired business results.
Prepare business process flow analysis, requirement documentation, system end user presentation, user stories, test cases, issue and risk logs.
Collaborate with other technology team for understanding the interface between system and facilitate and help make architectural solutions.
Support and collaborate testing effort of functionalities with operation and end users. Ability to design test strategy and write test cases for complex systems.
Lead business/IT meetings and manage meeting minutes and action items.
Ability to work in an agile team environment.
Interfaces with all areas of IT on behalf of the business to resolve IT matters and improve business processes.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in business analysis in payments processing, domain, ISO
200022 standards, understanding of SWIFT formats, MX, Payment engine, Funds control, balance reporting , Wires, ACH, RTP, Omni channel experience.

Preferred Experience:

10+ years’ experience in Payment’s technology and/or Operations/Business - ideally both and previously worked as System Analyst or Business Analyst.
Extensive experience as an IT Business Analyst at major financial services company
CBAP or CCBA certification preferred
SAFe or CSM certification preferred

Payment Domain Knowledge base:
A strong business and technical knowledge in disciplines surrounding a High and Low Value Payment Processing
An understanding of an end-to-end flow of various Payment methods from initiation to settlement and tracking
Payment messaging such as MT, MX formats, ISO
200022 standards and FED/CHIP formats and interoperability among these formats
Knowledge of or working experience of any payment hub or ecosystem
Payment platform knowledge (Atleast two):
o Real Time payment, ACH Payment, Fed Wires/ Cross border Payment
Product:
o FIS/World pay
Payment Network :
o Swift

Technical or Application Knowledge base:
Knowledge of Development Life cycles and Agile approach to project implementation and software used to support same: JIRA, Blue Print, Confluence
Account static data management
Payment tracking mechanisms such as GPI
User Interface design
Technical background with knowledge of SDLC, JSON, XML and ability to write SQL queries
Experience working with waterfall and agile development methodologies
Understanding of systems engineering concepts
