The Team

The implementation consulting – project management team is a global team working with product solutions and engineering teams to successfully deliver client implementations for SP Global's Securities Processing & Corporate Actions solutions.

Responsibilities

& Impact
  • Driving clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered according to defined scope, dates and budget.
  • Project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with a proven track record of leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders/partners.
  • Ability to engage competently with client at all levels of the organisation.
  • P&L responsibility for the project.
  • Contribute as required to process improvements, pre‑sales and team development initiatives within the team.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree & 5+ years of experience in program/project management delivering software products or services, product development in financial services domain OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of working in a similar Product & solutions company with exposure to post‑trade automation business domain OR similar experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering highly complex IT transformation projects within the financial services industry.
  • Good written, presentation, and verbal communications skills that can be applied across organisational levels.
  • Good business knowledge in post trade automation space.
  • Excellent client facing skills. A good communicator with strong relationship building skills.
  • Training or understanding of standard project management methodologies e.g. PMI.
Additional

Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent influencer with proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
  • 10+ years of experience in program/project management experience in financial services/solutions vendor organizations OR equivalent experience.
  • Certification in Project/program management (PMP OR equivalent).
  • Flexible and adaptable to project needs and changing priorities. Strong inter-personal skills with practical, can‑do approach.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage own time accordingly.
