SENIOR ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

One of our national clients with offices in NYC is seeking a Senior Enterprise Systems Administrator for their company that provides information and services. You must be able to work in their NYC office at least 3 days a week.

The Senior Enterprise Systems Administrator is responsible for operating secure computing platforms and enterprise applications in the company's private cloud. Responsible for operating and maintaining the company’s enterprise systems, Linux and Windows servers, and Windows networks. Deploy, install, upgrade, and continuously improve the operating environment, and maintain the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of the Information Technology infrastructure. This includes monitoring the operating environments, servers, and network;

responding to incidents, and problems, and planning for growth. This role responds to computer security breaches, virus and malware infections, and cyber-security threats. Implements supports, and complies with Information Security Management System security controls to protect enterprise data and IT infrastructure.

Education and Experience

· VMWare, Microsoft Windows, and Cisco Systems certifications desired

· 8+ years of hands-on experience deploying, administering, and upgrading Windows and Linux servers in a large IT environment (> 200 servers)

· 8+ years of hands-on experience and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure

· 8+ years of hands-on experience deploying, administering, and upgrading Windows 20XX operating systems

· 8+ years of hands-on experience deploying, administering, and upgrading Microsoft Active Directory

· 8+ years of hands-on experience deploying, administering, and upgrading a VMWare ESXi environment and VMWare vSphere

· 5+ years of hands-on experience deploying, administering, and upgrading a VMWare Horizon View cloud desktop environment

· 3+ years of hands-on experience maintaining VMWare Horizon View cloud desktop environment

· 2+ years of hands-on experience administering public cloud environments
