SOC Shift Leader

Job Description

Join the Wix cyber security team as a SOC Lead. You’ll be the senior analyst on the New York shift, performing investigations and leading day-to-day operations. You’ll manage the flow of alerts and incidents, support analysts during investigations, and keep NY operations aligned with our global SOC.

• Lead the NY SOC shift and keep investigations on track.
• Take an active part in handling alerts and cases as needed.
• Serve as the escalation point for analysts and provide direction.
• Oversee incident handling quality.
• Coordinate with global SOC teams to ensure smooth handovers and consistent workflows.
• Coach analysts during investigations and support their technical growth.
• Handle local operational needs as the main on-shift contact.

• 3+ years of experience in a SOC, incident response or similar security role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SIEM, EDR and cloud log sources.
• Ability to own a shift and make real‑time decisions under pressure.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends as part of a 24/7 rotation.
• Advantage: relevant security certifications (GIAC, HTB CDSA, THM SAL or similar).

At this time we are seeking NY‑based candidates who are able and willing to work on‑site with a hybrid and rotating schedule, including nights and weekends.

Expected base compensation salary range $130,000 - $160,000. In addition to base pay you will receive company RSUs as part of the compensation package.

Final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including location the role is expected to be performed, shift, candidate profile and ideal qualifications.
