Protocol Lead - Blockchain

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Protocol Lead - Blockchain. This is a remote role for US‑based candidates.

We’re building a platform set to the standard for how regulated blockchain applications enforce transaction rules at the smart contract layer. We empower teams to create modular, programmable policies—such as AML / CFT checks or offchain collateral requirements—that are verified before a transaction executes on‑chain. Our system enforces these policies with cryptographic guarantees, providing robust, scalable risk management tailored to real‑world use cases.

As Protocol Lead, you’ll own the design, development, and maintenance of our smart contract suite. You’ll build tooling to support integrations, contribute to core infrastructure, and research emerging technologies to keep us at the forefront of the industry. You’ll also serve as the team’s blockchain subject‑matter expert, supporting teammates across the stack on all things related to smart contract interactions.

• Own the architecture, development, and maintenance of core smart contracts
• Establish and uphold best practices for contract security, up gradability, testing, and CI / CD
• Manage and coordinate audits, bug bounties, and protocol versioning
• Contribute to SDKs and developer tooling for seamless integration with our contracts
• Collaborate with backend teams in Go and Type Script on smart contract‑related integrations
• Develop knowledge across blockchain ecosystems, including EVM and non‑EVM environments (e.g., Solana / SVM)

• 4+ years experience in smart contract development and protocol design
• Deep familiarity with the public blockchains, Solidity, Rust, and relevant emerging tools
• Strong scripting language proficiency (e.g., Type Script)
• Prior experience leading smart contract audits and designing on‑chain protocols
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with external partners / customers
