Our client, an Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer, New Business Intake & Conflicts to serve as the technical owner of the firm's risk and compliance application ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications, this individual will be responsible for the stability, security, optimization, and strategic evolution of platforms supporting New Business Intake and Conflicts, including Intapp Conflicts, Intake, Walls, Terms
, and related systems. This is a highly technical, hands‑on role requiring close partnership with business stakeholders and leadership of the firm's Intapp cloud/SaaS migration
.
- Serve as IT owner for all applications supporting firm risk and compliance (Intapp Conflicts, Intake, Walls, Terms)
- Lead planning and execution of migration from on‑premise Intapp platforms to cloud/SaaS environments
- Identify and implement new capabilities enabled through cloud adoption
- Partner closely with New Business Intake and Conflicts teams to analyze workflows and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Optimize application configurations to support firmwide risk management initiatives
- Provide strategic recommendations to IT and business leadership based on platform capabilities, product roadmaps, and business drivers
- Manage vendor relationship with Intapp; advocate for enhancements, fixes, and roadmap alignment
- Lead and support application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, troubleshooting, and roadmap planning
- Ensure application performance, availability, security, and stability
- Monitor system performance and lead capacity planning efforts
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, data, and development teams
- Maintain accurate architecture diagrams, system documentation, and support materials
- Adhere to IT change management, SDLC, incident management, and governance processes
- Support training, QA, and testing activities; partner with QA on test scripts and remediation
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior analysts; collaborate with onshore and offshore teams
- Strong communication, organization, negotiation, critical thinking, and leadership skills
- Deep expertise with Intapp configuration tools (Forms, Workflows, data sets)
- Strong understanding of cloud/SaaS platforms, integrations, and release management
- Experience with system integrations (APIs, web services, FTP, database‑to‑database)
- Knowledge of AI and GenAI applications within legal technology or enterprise IT environments
- Proficiency with SQL Server, SQL development, querying, and reporting
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools
- Knowledge of security and data governance best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
- Collaborative team‑oriented mindset
- 7+ years of information technology experience
- 5+ years supporting enterprise application platforms3+ years of hands‑on experience with Intapp Conflicts, Intake, Walls, and Terms (or equivalent risk/compliance systems)
- 3+ years of experience in a professional services or legal environment (preferred)
- 3+ years supporting cloud/SaaS platforms
- Experience working with executive‑level stakeholders
