This is a rare opportunity to join a breakout food brand at a pivotal stage of growth. Led by CEO Peter Rahal, Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR, David is working to become the leading consumer food brand focused on high-protein foods in North America and beyond.
Role and ResponsibilitiesThe IT Operations Admin will report to the Systems & Data Manager and will be responsible for keeping David’s technology environment secure, reliable, and scalable as the company grows. This is a hands‑on role owning day‑to‑day IT operations, workplace technology, identity and access management, security, and cross‑functional tooling support. You will partner closely with all internal functions and external vendors to ensure employees have the tools, access, and systems they need to work efficiently.
CoreIT Operations & Employee Support
- Serve as the primary IT helpdesk contact for all employees, managing troubleshooting across devices, software/tooling, access, and networking issues (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, Office
365, , Macabacus, etc.). - Maintain office technology including printing, Wi‑Fi, networking, and meeting room setups.
- Lead technical onboarding/offboarding, including account setup, device provisioning, and access changes.
- Maintain clear, accessible IT documentation, including company tech and security guidelines.
- Define, enforce, and monitor password management and cybersecurity standards, including mandatory password resets, MFA enforcement, credential hygiene training, and compliance with internal security policies and regulatory best practices.
- Conduct recurring access reviews, system audits, and support ongoing security improvements.
- Enforce device and MDM policies; handle laptop imaging, configuration, patching, compliance, and ongoing monitoring.
- Conduct quarterly systems audits, including license usage, permissions reviews, and application access certification.
- Manage SaaS tools, licenses, renewals, and vendor relationships; optimize usage and spend.
- Oversee hardware procurement, inventory, and device lifecycle planning.
- Provide foundational Net Suite and broader systems admin support (e.g., user access, simple saved searches, dashboards).
- 3+ years of IT support or IT operations experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Hands‑on experience with identity management and SSO tools (e.g., Okta, Jump Cloud) and comfort administering collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack).
- Strong general IT skills including laptop troubleshooting, MDM/endpoint management, networking basics, and security best practices.
- Comfort with light automation or scripting (e.g., SSO / MFA workflows, MDM rules, simple scripts) to improve IT processes.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into simple guidance for non‑technical teams.
- A proactive, service‑oriented mindset, with a bias toward improving processes, documentation, and employee experience.
- This is a full‑time role.
- Compensation: $90 - $130k per year. The compensation range is inclusive of bonus. An option to trade a portion of salary for equity compensation will also be offered.
