We are currently looking for Murex Data Management Business Analysts to join a multi-person team supporting our investment banking client on a hybrid, long-term engagement in the NYC metro area.
Responsibilities- Conducting business analysis and quality assurance to clarify business requirements, business logic, and field definitions.
- Ensuring data integrity, performing automated reconciliation validation, and validating data sources.
- Developing process flows and documenting business requirements and functional specifications.
- Running SQL queries to select and compare datasets for analysis.
- Collaborating with technology teams to define data integrity checks and ensure accurate implementation.
- Supporting business stakeholders with use case confirmation, testing, and migration plans, as well as UAT and system testing.
- Assisting in data migration to Snowflake, working closely with both business and tech teams to remediate issues.
- Strong educational background – Degree (Masters would be an advantage).
- 2+ years experience in a similar role for an investment bank / financial institution.
- Strong Business Analyst skillset.
- Capital Markets product knowledge, such as FI, EQ, Comm, FX.
- Murex experience and knowledge.
- Technical mindset, with experience in any of the following - SQL, Python, No
SQL databases, Java, Big Data tools. - Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Primary Location Salary Range: $60/hr - $90/hr
