About the RoleWe are looking for a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong foundation in manual testing and an eye for detail. While the core focus will be manual functional and regression testing, familiarity with automation tools or scripting will be considered a plus.
You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our products by executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with developers and product managers to uphold our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Review requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to create accurate manual test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, UI, and integration testing of software applications.
- Execute test cases and log defects, ensuring proper defect lifecycle management.
- Validate bug fixes and retest to ensure quality compliance.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive testing records and reports.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members during the Agile development cycle.
- Support test planning and execution for new releases and hotfixes.
- (Advantageous) Assist automation engineers in preparing and executing automated test scripts.
- Suggest improvements in product usability and testing processes.
- 2–4 years of experience in software quality assurance, primarily in manual testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in preparing and executing well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience in defect tracking and test management tools.
- Exposure to automation testing tools or scripting languages (advantageous, not mandatory).
- Familiarity with SQL for basic query writing and data validation.
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
