People Soft Financials Techno-Functional Consultant

Work Authorization: Looking for an experienced People Soft Financials Techno-Functional Consultant. This role requires over a decade of experience in People Soft development, with a strong focus on the Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) suite. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining critical financial applications, supporting both project work and ongoing operations.

• Develop, customize, and maintain People Soft FSCM modules such as Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Project Costing, and Billing
• Write and optimize People Code, Application Engine programs, SQRs, BI Publisher reports, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker services
• Support full application development lifecycle including requirements gathering, technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation
• Perform impact analysis and retrofitting during People Tools and FSCM application upgrades
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments
• Partner with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Participate in data conversion, integration development, and interface configuration with external systems
• Ensure compliance with internal development standards, security policies, and SOX/financial audit requirements
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and user training materials

• 10+ years of People Soft technical development experience, with at least 7 years in FSCM modules
• Expertise in People Tools 8.5x+, including People Code, App Engine, Component Interface, SQR, and Integration Broker
• Strong understanding of core financial processes and data structures in modules like GL, AR, PC, and BI
• Experience with People Soft upgrades, patching, and retrofitting
• Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of technical specifications

• Experience with Fluid UI, Pivot Grids, and Work Centers
• Familiarity with People Soft Test Framework (PTF) or automated testing tools
• Experience integrating People Soft with external ERP or financial systems via REST/SOAP APIs
• Exposure to People Soft on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
