Overview
Terminal X is looking for a Head of Business Development to lead our Go-to-Market (GTM) team in New York, NY.
As Head of Sales at Terminal X, you’ll define and lead the commercial engine of one of the most ambitious AI companies in financial services. This is a rare opportunity to build a world-class sales org from the ground up—leading strategy, hiring, execution, and revenue growth. You’ll work closely with founders and product leaders to bring transformational AI solutions to market, partner with the world’s top financial institutions, and own a core function as we scale.

Responsibilities- Recruit and lead a high-performing sales team from 0 to 1
- Define and implement scalable sales processes and tooling
- Establish and exceed ambitious revenue goals
- Shape sales messaging and positioning in collaboration with product and marketing
- Partner cross-functionally on GTM alignment and pipeline acceleration
- Lead enterprise conversations with hedge funds, investment banks, and asset managers
- Serve as a senior external representative of Terminal X
- Own the development of playbooks, metrics, and forecasting across the sales cycle
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with 3+ years in sales leadership.
- Deep familiarity with financial services and enterprise sales cycles (e.g. Bloomberg, Fact Set, Refinitiv, S&P, etc.)
- Proven success building and managing high-performing sales teams
- Strong operator: analytical, process-oriented, and data fluent
- Strategic thinker with the ability to work hands-on and adapt in fast-changing environments
- Excellent communicator and negotiator, with a founder mindset and GTM curiosity
- Bonus: experience selling SaaS or AI products to institutional clients
