We're assisting a division within a well-established investment firm with their search for Quantitative Developers as they are doubling in size over the next few months. The role will work onsite 5 days per week in the New York office. They're hiring dozens of developers in this capacity.
What you'll do:- Collaborating daily with quantitative researchers and traders to understand problems and build robust solutions.
- Developing platform tooling, libraries, and infrastructure to support trading systems and strategies.
- Bringing researchers' and PMs' ideas to life very quickly, adapting to fluid market conditions.
- Working on projects with quick feedback loops and immediate, high impact on the business.
- Taking end-to-end ownership of projects, from conception to production, with a strong focus on commerciality.
- 1 - 15 years of experience in quantitative development or backend software engineering
- Experience at a fast-growing startup as an early engineer
- Experience at a larger top tech in a profit-generating team or AI Lab
- Experience at top trading firms
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Python
