Job Summary

Senior GIS Support Analyst

• Provide development and technical support (tier 1‑3) to the Con Ed ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and applications.

• Develop minor enhancements using Python, Angular
  
  JS, ArcGIS JavaScript API, ASP.NET (C#).

• Support Con Ed Landbase applications including new development and troubleshooting requests.

• Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.

• Monitor systems and tune performance.

• Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.

• Coordinate with other teams such as server support, security, DBA, etc.

• Supported hours: shift flexibility from 9 AM to 9 PM EST, including weekends on a rotational basis.

• 5‑10 years of administration, support, and development of ArcGIS applications.

• 5‑10 years of administration and support of ArcFM applications.

• Development and coding experience with Python, Angular
  
  JS, ArcGIS JavaScript API, .NET (C#).

• Experience deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administering ArcGIS server sites.

• Experience in system monitoring and performance tuning.

• Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.

• Ability to coordinate with teams such as server support, security, DBA, etc.

• Ability to understand requirements and support the team, sharing best practices/lessons learned.

• Provide status of tickets to client SME.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by end users of the enterprise applications.

• Utility experience (useful to enhance GIS solutions and contribute to industry‑specific initiatives).

• Windows server knowledge and experience.

• FME experience: work closely with the FME Suite for GIS Landbase activities.
