Content Production Manager (Project Manager)
We are hiring a Content Production Manager (Project Manager) to join an investment management firm in NYC or Newport Beach, CA.
- Pay Rate: $70/HR - $80/HR
- Location:
Hybrid, NYC or Newport Beach, CA (4 days a week onsite, 1 day remote) - Duration: 6 months
- Manage the full content production lifecycle for thought leadership pieces, from compliance approval through publication and distribution.
- Monitor and manage inbound content requests, ensuring all submissions are properly vetted, tracked, and prioritized.
- Navigate internal systems to manage content workflows, approvals, and production tracking.
- Coordinate the creation, review, and editing of supporting assets and charts, including updating charts in Excel to meet content standards.
- Ensure all content meets accessibility guidelines and digital publishing requirements.
- Partner with writers to ensure clean, complete handoff of content into production and manage any necessary follow-ups.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure visual assets are accurate, engaging, and aligned with content objectives.
- Work closely with compliance partners to ensure content adheres to regulatory standards and required disclosures.
- Coordinate with marketing operations and digital teams to ensure timely and accurate publication and distribution across platforms.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback while maintaining strict version control and accurate tracking of revisions.
- Champion content production best practices and proactively recommend process improvements, including the use of AI and automation tools.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across parallel work streams while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- 5+ years of experience in content production or content project management within investment management, asset management, financial services, or a comparable regulated industry (or agency supporting this space).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in version control, compliance review, and content accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience editing charts and data visuals in Excel.
- Familiarity with digital publishing workflows, content management systems, and internal tracking tools.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with writers, designers, compliance teams, and marketing partners.
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards for digital content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify process gaps and recommend scalable improvements.
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
