Job Description:

Fire Department of the City of New York is looking for a highly skilled ArcGIS Developer to design, build and maintain enterprise grade geospatial applications.

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on GIS
• ArcGIS Enterprise:
  Deep understanding of Portal for ArcGIS, Geo Event Server, ArcGIS Server, and Data Store.
• Application Development:
  Build and deploy interactive web mapping applications using the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and Java, Spring Boot.
• Python:
  Advanced scripting for geoprocessing.
• SQL:
  Proficiency in writing complex spatial joins and queries.

• ArcGIS API for Python:
  Experience using this for “Dev Ops for GIS” automating user management, content audits, and cloning environments between Dev, Test, and Production.
• ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (4.x):
  Mastery of the 4.x series, particularly creating custom widgets and handling 3D visualizations.
• Web Frameworks:
  Proficiency in Spring Boot, React, Angular, or Vue.js is highly desirable. Most modern ArcGIS web apps are integrated into these frameworks.
