Infrastructure Engineer

We’re supporting a fast-moving, early-stage tech company that’s building a highly advanced AI-driven product one that relies on rock-solid, scalable, and secure infrastructure. They’re growing their engineering team and looking for someone who’s excited to take ownership of a modern cloud environment from the ground up.

This is a chance to join a small, high‑calibre engineering team where your work directly shapes the platform’s stability, scalability, and long‑term architecture. You’ll be responsible for evolving a cloud environment that currently runs on AWS, containerised services, and a mix of automation tools with plenty of scope to redesign, harden, and optimise it.

You’ll architect reliable deployments, improve system visibility, and drive automation across the stack. If you enjoy building infrastructure that can withstand real‑world load, grow with the product, and deliver consistent performance, this role offers huge impact from day one.

• Designing and maintaining production‑grade cloud systems
• Improving observability, monitoring, and overall reliability
• Implementing automated, scalable, and cost‑efficient infrastructure
• Managing deployments with a focus on uptime and resilience
• Collaborating closely with senior engineers in a highly technical environment

• 4–7 years’ experience building and supporting production infrastructure
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of AWS and containerised environments
• Ability to write production‑quality code (Python experience helpful)
• Someone who thrives in high‑ownership, fast‑moving teams
• A practical mindset, you prefer simple, reliable solutions over complexity

AWS, Docker, Terraform, modern observability tooling (e.g., Open Telemetry, Prometheus, ELK), Postgre

SQL, Python.

This is a hybrid role in New York City. The team values in‑person collaboration, so you’ll spend most of your time onsite, with flexibility built in when needed. Visa sponsorship isn’t available for this position.

On offer is a salary of between $230,000 and $250,000 plus significant equity.
