An accomplished Senior Director of Translational Sciences with deep expertise in solid tumor oncology to lead our translational strategy from discovery through clinical development. This role bridges preclinical research and clinical application, driving biomarker development, patient stratification, and mechanistic insights to accelerate therapeutic innovation.
Overall,Job Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute translational strategies for solid tumor programs across the pipeline.
- Collaborate with discovery, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams to align translational goals with program milestones.
- Lead identification, validation, and implementation of predictive, pharmacodynamic, and prognostic biomarkers.
- Oversee development of companion diagnostics in partnership with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Design and support early-phase clinical trials with robust translational endpoints.
- Interpret clinical biomarker data to inform patient selection and dose optimization.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in tumor biology, immuno-oncology, and precision medicine.
- Foster external collaborations with academic institutions, consortia, and CROs.
PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in oncology, molecular biology, immunology, or related field
Experience10+ years of industry experience in translational sciences, with a strong focus on solid tumors.
Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)- Proven track record of biomarker strategy development and clinical trial support.
- Deep understanding of tumor microenvironment, resistance mechanisms, and molecular profiling.
- Experience with regulatory submissions and companion diagnostic development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in immuno-oncology or targeted therapies.
- Familiarity with high-dimensional data (e.g., NGS, proteomics, single-cell analysis).
- Prior involvement in IND-enabling studies and regulatory interactions.
