* What You’ll Do:

** As a Sr. Director of Technical Program Management (TPM), we’re looking for someone that can help us lead programs that deliver on critical business goals and build large scale products & platforms that will help Capital One customers have incredible experiences.  In addition to the technical program, you will also work to pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team, by leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to teach the organization what a great TPM can achieve.

* Drive the end-to-end strategic roadmap for enterprise platforms, ensuring modernization, scalability, and alignment with business growth priorities
* Own executive communications on delivery status, program risk and long-term architectural decisions to drive enterprise-wide technology alignment
* Establish and scale TPM best practices, governance frameworks, and OKR-based performance models that are adopted across multiple domains
* Influence investment prioritization and ensure that platform decision optimize for long-term agility, resilience and cost efficiency
* Mentor and develop TPM leaders, fostering a high-performance culture focused on technical excellence and delivery accountability

* Basic Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's degree in a technical field
* At least 9 years of experience managing technical programs  
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** 9+ years of experience designing and building solutions using distributed computing  or service oriented architecture (SOA)
* 5+ years of experience in building distributed systems & highly available services using cloud computing services / architecture - preferably using AWS
* 5+ years of building & leading experienced TPM team or impacting multiple organizations as an IC
* 5+ years experience building highly scalable products & platforms
* 5+ years of experience with Agile delivery
* 5+ years years experience delivering large and complex programs - where you contribute to the business or technical vision, collaborate with large cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables and unblock teams to land business impact
* Experience in building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environment
