Location: New York
The Department of Financial Services seeks a Data Analyst 3 for its Technology Bureau to support complex analytical projects, develop data-driven solutions, and lead data analytics initiatives. The role involves overseeing data transformation, managing large datasets, supervising a team of Data Analysts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted data solutions that drive business decisions and regulatory excellence.
Key qualifications:- Nine years of experience in data visualization, statistical models, and data mining tools (with two-year traineeship completion); OR six years of experience in these areas
- Experience developing data-driven solutions, data transformation, and analytics frameworks
- Ability to supervise and mentor analytics teams
- Experience with data governance, data quality standards, and enterprise data management
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills
