Our client is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to help support and scale a high-availability technology platform within a growing financial services environment. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on infrastructure operations, Kubernetes administration, CI/CD automation, and production support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working across Linux environments, containerised applications, cloud infrastructure, and modern deployment pipelines while partnering closely with software engineering teams.
CompensationUp to $170,000 Base Salary
LocationFlushing, NY (Onsite 5 Days per Week)
Position TypeFull-Time
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Infrastructure Engineering, or Systems Administration roles.
- Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Kubernetes environments in production.
- Experience building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines for software delivery and deployment automation.
- Strong Linux systems administration experience within production environments.
- Experience with Docker and containerised application deployments.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure reliability, monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
- Experience troubleshooting issues across infrastructure, cloud services, containers, and applications.
- Working knowledge of scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or similar technologies.
- Experience supporting databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or related technologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering and business teams.
- Experience working within financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated environments.
- Experience implementing operational best practices, deployment standards, and infrastructure automation.
- Background spanning Dev Ops, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Experience supporting mission-critical, customer-facing applications requiring high availability.
- Experience mentoring engineers and helping establish scalable operational processes.
- Full-time position requiring onsite attendance 5 days per week in Flushing, NY.
