The New York State Unified Court System State Board of Law Examiners seeks a Computer Systems Analyst to design, test, upgrade, and maintain the Board's website, applicant portal, exam application system, and grading portal. The position, located in Albany, NY, involves computer programming and systems analysis work under a Senior Technical Manager, including PC setup and troubleshooting as well as bar examination administration support across the state.
Keyqualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university plus 2-4 years computer programming or systems analysis experience (or equivalent combination)
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and technical writing experience
- Experience with MS Access, MS Office, database management, spreadsheet development, and document preparation
- Strong IT skills including hardware/software troubleshooting and system navigation
- Experience with testing methodologies (regression, automated, data output comparison)
- SQL proficiency preferred; previous competitive class service in related titles may substitute for degree
