Senior Pre-Sales Infrastructure​/Network Design Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Infrastructure/Network Design Engineer to lead client connectivity design and technical solution architecture within an enterprise infrastructure organization. This client-facing role requires extensive expertise in network engineering, extranet architecture, and end-to-end application flows across firewalls, load balancers, routers, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical subject matter expert, guiding connectivity solutions from requirements gathering through onboarding and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design client-specific network, extranet, and infrastructure connectivity solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, application teams, and infrastructure stakeholders to develop end-to-end technical architectures.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, PowerPoint presentations, and Visio network diagrams.
• Present technical designs and explain connectivity architecture to clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Analyze application flows across network infrastructure and provide technical oversight for connectivity troubleshooting.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support client onboarding, implementation, and project handoffs.
• Support strategic initiatives related to tokenization and infrastructure modernization.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or technical architecture.
• Strong expertise in network design, extranet technology, and private client connectivity.
• Experience designing connectivity solutions for client onboarding or infrastructure integration.
• Understanding of application flows across firewalls, load balancers, routers, and related network components.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.
• Experience in financial services, securities, fintech, or other regulated environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or client solutions architecture.
• Familiarity with Splunk, Forward Networks, or similar network diagnostics and observability tools.
