About the team: The HR Transformation Team is a highly skilled group responsible for owning the HR Business technology roadmap and leading the upcoming shipboard HR transformation and implementation. The team is composed of experts in HR technology, transformation, project management, and product ownership. We work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of HR technology projects and the alignment of technology strategies with business objectives.

Moreover, the team is responsible for monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion. We are dedicated to providing guidance and support to team members and stakeholders throughout the implementation process, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the most effective and efficient execution of projects.

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Success Factors Configuration and Release Management to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing the configuration and release management processes for our Success Factors system. They will work closely with product owners to ensure that system configurations are aligned with business requirements and that the release management process is streamlined and efficient.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Success Factors configuration and release management, as well as strong project management and communication skills.

• Manage the configuration and release management processes for the Success Factors system
• Work closely with product owners to understand business requirements and ensure that system configurations are aligned with those requirements
• Develop and maintain a release management roadmap that aligns with business needs and timelines
• Hire, grow and retain a world-class team of product leads/analysts responsible for product configuration.
• Manage the deployment of system updates and upgrades, ensuring that all changes are properly tested and documented
• Develop and maintain a change management process that minimizes disruption to end-users
• Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
• Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders as needed
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Success Factors configuration and release management
• Provide mentorship and technical direction to team-members, standardizing on practices and methodologies
• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize, scope, and plan activities
• Serve as a technical expert in Success Factors implementation and configuration

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Success Factors configuration and release management
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate people, instill accountability, perform under the pressure and optimize the team's resources to attain the business goals
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with change management processes
• Knowledge of HR processes and systems is a plus
• Success Factors certification is a plus
• Ability to manage ambiguity with demonstrated confidence & credibility
• Prior Success Factors implementation is a plus
