The IT Quality Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies.

Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities.

Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

• Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automated test scripts using Selenium Web Driver in Java.
• Design, write, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured manual test plans and test cases.
• Perform thorough manual functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects and usability issues not covered by formal test cases.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber BDD) to ensure efficient and organized testing.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops) to support agile development practices.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, sanity and integration testing, leveraging automation where appropriate.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger to validate backend services.
• Perform database validation by writing and executing SQL queries to ensure data integrity.
• Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Provide clear and concise reporting on test progress, defect status, and overall product quality to stakeholders.
• Continuously research and implement new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
• Contribute to the improvement of overall software quality processes and practices within the team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficient in designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium Web Driver.
