Lab Vantage LIMS Developer / Consultant – Contract – Remote (US) - Eastern Time
Pay Range : $80–$85/hr. (1099)
Work Authorization: Green Card or USC Authorized candidates only
Work Arrangement: Remote
Duration: 6 months with potential extension
Responsibilities Lab Systems Architecture & LIMS Delivery- Design, develop, configure, and support Lab Vantage LIMS (v8.6+) solutions to meet laboratory and business requirements.
- Create technical specifications, architecture documentation, and detailed design documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams in an Agile development environment.
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements from business stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance Lab Vantage workflows and modules including Workflows, Request Management, Advanced Storage & Logistics, and Package Management.
- Design and develop integrations between Lab Vantage and enterprise applications such as ERP, PLM, SDMS, and other business systems.
- Design and support instrument integrations through SDMS and related interfaces.
- Develop and maintain reports using Jasper Reports and labels using Bar Tender.
- Perform system configuration, customization, validation, testing, and deployment activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, validation requirements, and laboratory best practices.
- Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Support data migration activities including master data setup, legacy data analysis, transformation, and migration.
- 7+ years of Lab Vantage LIMS implementation experience to include Lab Vantage development, configuration, solution evaluation, validation, and deployment.
- 5+ years of experience capturing requirements related to configuration/customization, documentation, and data migration analysis and process mapping.
- 7+ years of experience creating requirement specifications based on architecture/design and detailed functionality/process requirements.
- Experience designing integrations/interfaces with enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, SDMS, and other applications.
- Lab Vantage module experience includes Workflows, Request Management, Advanced Storage & Logistics, and Package Management.
- Experience with the following is a must.
- SDLC and database concepts (Oracle and SQL Server) plus integration design.
- Master data setup and data migration (master and legacy data).
- Jasper Reports and Bar Tender labels.
- Instrument integrations using SDMS.
- Geographically distributed teams.
- Agile environment with strong planning and coordination skills.
