Information Technology Intern

Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes. We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.

Join our Information Technology Department for a summer internship! We're looking for a Computer Science or Information Technology student who is eager to gain hands‑on experience supporting a dynamic global organization. As an IT intern, you'll be an integral part of our team, providing technical support to our user base while contributing to the maintenance and optimization of our hardware, software, and IT systems.

You'll troubleshoot technical issues, assist with system administration, and help keep our infrastructure running smoothly.

We're seeking candidates who are currently studying Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a passion for technology and a genuine desire to learn. Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. Through this internship, you'll gain real‑world IT experience, receive mentorship from seasoned professionals, and build valuable skills that will set you up for success in your career.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users
• Assist with hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Support software deployment and updates across the organization
• Help monitor and maintain IT systems and infrastructure
• Document technical issues and resolutions
• Research technical problems and review documentation to identify solutions
• Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Enrolled in accredited college pursuing Bachelor's or Associate's degree in technical field. Students and recent graduates will need to provide a copy of their transcript as part of the interviewing and screening process.
• Experience and knowledge with personal computers
• Networking experience is a plus
• Understanding of Windows 10 or higher
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to troubleshoot computer issues
• Must be able to take direction well and be a self-starter
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
• Must be customer service‑oriented and learn techniques that best serve clients

The expected salary for this position is $18.00 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
