A healthcare technology company is hiring an Applied Scientist to build the systems behind care recommendations, member engagement and healthcare affordability. This is a production role, not a reporting one: you own problems from defining the objective through choosing an approach, deploying it and measuring whether it works.

What you will do Develop decision algorithms and set evaluation metrics.

Work with engineering to take models into production.

Choose the right tool for each problem: machine learning, optimization, heuristics or a mix.

What you will bring

Four or more years in applied science, machine learning or similar, or two or more years with a relevant advanced degree.

Strong mathematical judgment and practical implementation skills.
