* Job Description:

** The Director, Data Management will lead the end-to-end data enablement process for the Paramount account, with primary responsibility for taxonomy governance, data quality, site-served reporting enablement and the successful flow of campaign data into downstream reporting environments. This role will serve as the central subject matter expert and escalation point across Communications Design, Growth Analytics, Data Management, Ad Operations and other cross-functional teams, while managing and developing supporting Data Operations resources.
** Responsibilities
* ** External/client-facing responsibilities:
* Lead taxonomy strategy and governance conversations across key stakeholders to support accurate and consistent media reporting.
* Partner with client and agency Analytics teams to understand reporting and dashboard requirements and ensure they are appropriately translated into upstream campaign setup requirements.
* Act as the subject matter expert for projects and processes relating to taxonomy, data quality and reporting enablement.
* Proactively identify, elevate and resolve roadblocks related to taxonomy, data mapping, ingestion and reporting readiness.
* Provide ongoing technical guidance and recommendations related to data operations processes and taxonomy requirements.
* Facilitate communication and progression of data-related work streams through regular status meetings and working sessions.
* Assure timely follow-through on scheduled and ad hoc data-enablement deliverables.
* Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate processes while maintaining required data quality. Internal-facing responsibilities:
* Own the end-to-end operational process from taxonomy development through clean, reporting-ready campaign data.
* Establish and maintain clear taxonomy governance, including standardized interpretation of fields that require strategic or campaign-specific judgment. Ensure compliance with data-quality standards across campaigns.
* Oversee site-served data collection and QC processes, ensuring data adheres to template, naming, mapping and formatting requirements necessary for downstream ingestion and reconciliation with CM360 data.
* Serve as the escalation point for complex taxonomy, mapping, ingestion and data-quality issues.
* Troubleshoot discrepancies across planned, ad-served, site-served and downstream reporting data in partnership with appropriate cross-functional teams.
* Lead, mentor and train supporting Data Operations resources, including nearshore/offshore team members.
* Establish clear handoffs and escalation paths between Data Operations, Communications Design, Analytics, Data Management and Ad Operations. Create and maintain data-related standards, process documentation and training materials.
* Identify recurring failure points and develop solutions that address root causes rather than resolving issues campaign by campaign.
* Drive adoption of automation and exception-based QA wherever possible. Ensure new or evolving downstream reporting requirements are understood and operationalized upstream before campaign activation.
