Job Description & How to Apply Below

We're looking for a Data Analyst to help us understand what's happening in our business through data. You'll pull information from our systems, build reports and dashboards, and answer specific questions that help our team make better decisions. This role works closely with department heads, finance, and operations to turn raw data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities
  • Extract data from our databases and tools (SQL queries, API pulls, or direct exports) to answer business questions
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Sheets that teams check regularly
  • Clean and organize messy data—fixing errors, handling missing values, standardizing formats
  • Analyze trends, patterns, and anomalies in data; write short summaries explaining what you found and why it matters
  • Work with department heads to understand what metrics they actually need and deliver reports that fit their workflow
  • Document how you built reports and analyses so others can understand and update them later
  • Troubleshoot data problems when reports break or numbers don't match expectations
  • Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in clear language without jargon
Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience working with data (analyst role, business intelligence, or similar)
  • Strong SQL skills—you can write queries to pull, filter, and aggregate data from relational databases
  • Experience building reports or dashboards in at least one tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio, or similar)
  • Comfortable with Excel and able to use formulas, pivot tables, and basic data manipulation
  • Basic statistics knowledge—you understand concepts like averages, distributions, correlation, and statistical significance
  • Ability to explain technical findings to people without data backgrounds
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in any field preferred (math, computer science, business, or related field a plus but not required)
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis
  • Familiarity with cloud databases (Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift)
  • Background in your industry (retail, SaaS, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Experience with A/B testing or experimental design
Benefits
  • Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) with company contribution
  • 15 days PTO annually plus company holidays
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Professional development budget for courses or certifications
  • Flexible work arrangement (hybrid or remote options available)
  • Casual dress code
  • Growth path into senior analyst or analytics leadership roles
