• Lead the design and development of solutions to complex application problems relating to numerous websites across multiple business units.
• Design and develop customizations for the over-arching Content Platform.
• Responsible for enterprise stack relating to marketing and finance.
• Responsible for the architecture, design and scalability of the Cloud infrastructure.
• Architect the SSO and data collection components of the platform and lead the developers in thebuild-out.
• Architect the Middle Layer (Client-specific communications/APIs) that supports the Learning Management Platform (LMS).
• Leadership role in defining the components of the Data Warehouse and the ongoing architecture ofthe Data as it comes in to maximize its usage/value.
• Collaborate with engineers to design solutions and integrations with other systems, driving adoption of modern processes and development practice.
• Collaborate with product and finance teams on project schedules and budgets.
• Develop ongoing innovation as we begin to integrate predictive modeling and early AI into product sand services to diversify revenue streams.
• Mentor other Developers, BI Developers, and Data Architects as they grow in the organization.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and platforms to address business needs, and drive innovation.
• Responsible for evaluating vendors and solutions to recommend build vs buy.

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or foreign equivalent. Alternatively, Employer will accept a three-year foreign bachelor’s degree or a specific associate’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field

:
Six years of experience as a technical architect, enterprise architect, or in a closely related occupation.

Skills:

• Experience working with and designing content management systems, open source such as Wordpress, or internally developed. Ensuring that systems are scalable and adhere to web best practices.
• Experience documenting system architecture and design.
• Ability to communicate technical information and implications for business stakeholders, in addition to vendors, and clients.
• Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP.
• Experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, or Cloudflare Workers.
• Experience with Docker or other containerization.
• Experience working with SQL and noSQL databases.
• Experience with data transfer, using platforms such as Talend, and/or custom scripts.
• Knowledge of security best practices regarding data, file storage, and SDLC.
• Experience working with stakeholders to evaluate system requirements from all aspects including scalability, functionality, usability, and reporting.
• Experience with version control, GIT, and source control best practices.
• Experience with monitoring system performance and making recommendations for improvements.
• Experience working with Content Delivery Networks such as Fastly, Cloudflare, AWS Cloudfront.
• Experience working in an agile environment such as Scrum, Kanban.
• Experience evaluating enterprise platforms, vendors, and RFPs.
• Experience integrating with martech services, e.g. Marketo, Salesforce MC, Eloqua.
• Experience managing simultaneous projects.
