Not Available About the Opportunity Our client, a leading multinational organisation with complex global operations, is seeking an accomplished Lead Oracle EPM / Hyperion Business Systems Analyst to join its Financial Systems function.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Oracle EPM professional to play a pivotal role in designing, developing, implementing and optimising enterprise financial planning and reporting systems.

The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Hyperion Planning, Essbase and Oracle EPM with strong business analysis capabilities, project leadership and exceptional stakeholder management skills.

The position requires a confident professional capable of engaging with senior finance executives, including the Chief Financial Officer, and translating complex financial requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities Financial Systems Development & Implementation Design, develop, configure, test, deploy and maintain Hyperion Planning, Essbase and Oracle EPM Cloud applications.

Lead or contribute significantly to end-to-end financial systems implementations, enhancements and cloud migration projects.

Develop and maintain complex financial allocation models, calculation scripts, business rules and multidimensional databases.

Implement and optimise reporting solutions using Smart View and Financial Reporting tools.

Support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, financial allocations and management reporting processes.

Develop and maintain data integrations, security structures and application configurations.

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Human Resources and Technology teams to identify business requirements.

Translate complex functional requirements into detailed technical specifications and sustainable system solutions.

Work closely with senior finance leadership to support strategic financial planning and reporting requirements.

Evaluate the impact of proposed system changes on existing financial processes and applications.

Serve as a trusted technical and functional adviser to business stakeholders.

Project Delivery & Systems Optimisation Lead small- to medium-sized financial systems projects through the complete implementation lifecycle.

Coordinate activities across internal teams, offshore resources and third-party technology providers.

Manage competing priorities involving development, implementation, production support and continuous improvement.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot application issues and implement improvements.

Support vendor management, service-level agreements and performance monitoring.

Prepare technical documentation, training materials and user guides.

Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing production support.

Essential Requirements Candidates must demonstrate:

Minimum seven years of hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase or Oracle EPM technologies, preferably within complex multinational environments.

Strong practical experience developing, implementing, supporting and enhancing Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications.

Demonstrable involvement in at least one complete Hyperion Planning or Oracle EPM implementation lifecycle.

Expertise in developing complex calculation scripts, business rules, financial allocation models and multidimensional databases.

Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis and management reporting.

Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Experience managing projects and coordinating cross-functional technical teams.

Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage directly with CFO-level stakeholders.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organisational and stakeholder management capabilities.
